Wickersley Youth Academy – Ages 4-6

The Wickersley Youth JFC Football Academy aims to football coaching tailored for boys and girls who are 4 to 6 years of age in the local community. The ethos of the Academy is ensure the children have fun whilst developing their football skills and basic technique. The benefits to children are far wider than the football itself and would include confidence building, social development, team-work and improving health and fitness. The sessions are designed to develop good habits and are suitable for children of all ability levels. Some children may progress to play team football for Wickersley Youth or other local Clubs but others attend the Academy just to have fun and enjoy the benefits of exercise with friends.

All coaches at the Academy have football coaching qualifications and up to date Criminal Records Checks.

The Academy train on Tuesdays on Ruby Cook Playing Fields in the summer and at the Rotherham Football Centre in the winter.

FS1 Year - 5pm to 6pm
Y1 Year - 6pm to 7pm
